Pros

  • Nice, tall waterfall that is well worth the short hike.
  • Well-maintained trail.
  • Nice creek crossing at the bottom of the trail near the campsite.


Cons

  • On the way to the trailhead your car has to cross a creek that appeared to be over 12 inches in depth. Many people, including us, stopped their cars to investigate. Low clearance vehicles should use caution.
  • Parking at the trailhead is limited, and overflow parking is adjacent to a steep dropoff.
  • In March 2019 the bridge across the creek was unsafe for passage due to severe damage. It was jerry-rigged with branches, and people were still trying to go across the bridge instead of walking through the water. Please be careful.
