Pros

  • Abrams Falls is one of the most popular family hikes in the park, and this is for good reason.
  • The trail is designed to accommodate lots of hikers, so it is very wide.
  • The trail has a few good views from a higher elevation before it decends again down to the actual Abrams Falls.
  • There are several pathways from the trail to the creek allowing you to enjoy the creek as you make your way to the waterfall.
  • The waterfall area has several locations for you to sit and enjoy the experience before you decide to head back.


Cons

  • This hike is very popular, so avoid it if you are looking for solitude. There will be people everywhere.
  • It will be difficult to impossible to get a shot of the waterfall without a bunch of people getting in your shot.
