Pros
The Blood Mountain out and back is very tough, but it will make a great memory for you after finishing it.
The Blood Mountain trail is a not-too-long day hike that can be completed in 3-4 hours.
Great views on the way up to Blood Mountain.
The Freeman Loop has a slower incline as it makes its way too Blood Mountain over a much greater distance. This is assuming you get on the Freeman Trail instead of going straight to Blood Mountain.
Cons
The Freeman Trail is not really worth it because it's partially over-grown and very rocky.
The Freeman Trail doesn't have very many views.
The Blood Mountain trail is very popular, so expect the top of the mountain to be crowded with people. If you are looking for peace and quiet I would avoid this trail.
