Pros

  • This is very short hike along the Benton MacKaye Trail.
  • You can hike to the top of the waterfall to see it from above.
  • It has a pavilion to get a close-up of the waterfall, and you can also walk across the stream to the other side.
  • If you've already seen all the big Georgia waterfalls then this one would be worth it to check off your bucket list.

Cons

  • It looks nice, but there's no "wow" factor with this waterfall. If you haven't seen any of the other big ones in Georgia I would recommend going to go see those.
  • The drive to the parking lot is on a pretty long gravel and dirt road.
  • Based on the cars that were there in April 2016 we got bad vibes about the security of our vehicle. Be safe.
  • It is nice to have seen, but, unlike other waterfalls, there is no desire from us to revisit this one.
