Pros

  • The waterflow from the damn waterfall is pretty cool.
  • There are great views of the lake.
  • I did not do so, but you can go across the damn waterfall and then hike all the way around towards the bottom of the desoto waterfall.


Cons

  • There are no good and easy views of the actual DeSoto waterfall. The dropoff is actually very steep. Be safe.
  • The trail to the bottom of the DeSoto waterfall is neither safe nor obviously blazed.
